Whilst we sometimes may find "sorry" a hard word to say, the Gifting Team have learned that saying it in a gift, is the absolute best way!

Mistakes happen, it's a part of life and the gentle reminder that we are all at the end of the day, only human. When it comes to those mistakes, or those missed details, it's often how we step up and deal with them that has more impact than the mistake itself.

A case study we completed on a recently delivered Gifting Programme showed that some of their best client relationships were with those that actually had something go wrong at the beginning of the client journey. Acknowledging a mistake with a kind gesture establishes trust at the very start of the relationship and sets the standard for the level of care and concern they can expect as time goes on.

Same goes for the end of the client journey. You may have been working to deliver a project or close a sale for months, going above and beyond to meet deadlines and expectations. You could probably write a list as long as your arm about how much "extra" you have put in, but if you don't complete those final touches it's all a waste. The last step get you over the finish line, and is what the client remembers the most!
