First there was the Leaning Tower of Pisa. Then the Eiffel Tower. And now…the Gift Tower.
Will people flock to see it? Possibly, not – as it will be delivered. (Which is not really very practical for its illustrious namesakes, yet they still seem to have done OK so we sure can.)
And while there is a soupçon of the Grand Tour in these vertically imposing boxes there is also a lot that celebrates New Zealand. (Awatere River wines, for starters. Or, perhaps, served with dinner.)
We’re not sure that this will make it to a fridge magnet. (Surely, the height of marketing success.) Because there is simply too much to include; the apricot confit, the chocolates, the brie, the crisps, the olives, the roast red pepper sauce, the biscuits, and drunken prunes – probably not best for the kiddies for a whole range of reasons…unless they are other people’s.
